Asking Future Content and Updates. Creative/Sandbox Mode. More Classes Etc.
I'm genuinely excited about this game, but I'm growing frustrated knowing that I can only field a single Jedi. The current roster feels limited, and I believe expanding it would significantly deepen the experience for both new and returning players.
Content at Launch
Honestly, the game feels a bit bare-bones as it stands. For players like me who want more than what's available at launch, additional classes and a sandbox/creative mode would be a huge quality-of-life improvement. I also can't help but notice that updates for titles in this space (think XCOM) tend to be sparse, which makes me a little anxious about the long-term support here.
A Jedi Progression System?
I'm probably not the only one that wanted to play more missions with Anakin Skywalker or to have something like him in my crew from the beginning. But even I can say having Anakin from the start of the game would be overpowered. So one suggested solution is a Jedi progression system. I'd love to see a Jedi class built around a progression system modeled on the Jedi Academy ranking structure (Padawan → Knight → Master, etc.). This would give players a satisfying, long-term sense of growth and representation of power over time, especially for those who've already completed the main campaign and want more depth.
Additional Classes I'd Love to See
Cyborg / Grievous-type unit – A mechanical or augmented character wielding a lightsaber, giving us that iconic General Grievous archetype. Night Sisters – A dark-side faction class for tactical variety. Dedicated Force User – A pure Force-wielding class without a lightsaber, for those who want a different playstyle. Creative Droid Maker – A character focused on designing and deploying custom droid units. Sith / Dark-Side Lightsaber User – A class that wields a lightsaber and Force powers without being a Jedi, with customizable blade colors and styles. Comment Other Class Ideas Below.
Expanded Character Creator
The ten species available at launch are a great start, but Star Wars is full of iconic, visually distinct species that would slot right in. I'd love to see options like Ithorians, Sullustans, Duros, Kel Dors, Gotal, Cereans, Dugs, Nautolans, Ortolans, and Quarrens — just to name a few. Each one brings a completely different silhouette and personality to the squad, and it would make the roster feel as diverse as the galaxy itself. Speaking of diverse, we could use a more diverse color palette. Every colorable element — skin, hair, eyes, horns, lekku, antennae, markings, tattoos, body art, and gear accents — deserves a significantly wider palette. Right now the color options feel constrained, and that limits how unique each character can feel. Expanding the range across all of these would make a huge difference in how personal each operator feels. another way to make each character feel like He/she is a personal individual, is species features. Right now, some species lock you into a very narrow set of head shapes and features — for example, certain species only offer two or three head options with limited variation. That means you can't really design a character of that species the way you'd want to. I'd love to see each species get a fuller range of head shapes, more skin tone options, more marking and tattoo styles, and more freedom with horns, antennae, and other species-specific features. The goal should be: pick a species, then make it look like your version of that species, not just the one preset the game gives you. The character creator at launch is a solid foundation — it's functional and covers a reasonable range — but it's far from where it could be. A few targeted additions would elevate it from "good enough" to genuinely exciting.
In-Game Workshop
I'm on PS5 and don't have access to Steam Workshop. Bringing an in-game modding or workshop system to console would be an incredible addition and would open the door to community-created content. I know this is a long shot given EA's track record with player feedback, but it's worth asking.
