RTX 3070 – nvlddmkm driver crash / LiveKernelEvent 141
experiencing repeatable GPU crashes while playing Zero Company.
System specifications:
- gpu: Geforce rtx 3070
- cpu: Ryzen 7 7700
- os: windows 10
- nvidia driver: 616.56
- ram: 32gb
While playing the screen randomly (often an hour or so in) suddenly goes black and my monitor displays "No Signal". my pc remains powered on, but audio becomes glitchy or disappears. Occasionally the audio briefly returns, but there is no video output and the pc does not recover.
After restarting Windows Event Viewer reports:
"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
Windows Reliability Monitor also reports:
LiveKernelEvent – Code 141
Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Updated NVIDIA GPU drivers
- Performed a clean NVIDIA driver installation using DDU in Safe Mode
- Tested after the clean driver installation, stayed stable for ~2 hours but now not that stable again.
anyone know if theres a fix? or is this just in the hands of ea and i just gotta sit around :p
