DS is not weak, the problem is that some of the LS strongest toons are the main chars of the movies like CLS, Solo, R2, Rey and Kenobi while iconic DS toons like Vader and Palpatine aren't arena viable, but a ridiculous low level NS team can beat any top meta squad in about one minute and the major counter is another DS team Imperial Troopers.
The problem is that Star Wars fans that just follow the movies don't have even a clue about who are those NS, Nihilus or Thrawn.
