I don’t think I personally would have a problem with Executor being in the game, since Piett did command the ship in Episode 6. The issue is there are not enough Imperial ships in the game to split between 3 fleets. Plus then there would be 3 imperial capital ships versus just 1 rebel capital ship. The Profundity is the only other canon rebel capital ship that comes to mind, but I doubt CG would go back to 2016’s Rogue One to create one for the game now.
Most of the time there’s been a balance between fleets (i.e. Nego v Malevolence; Finalizer v Raddus) but there’s 2 current imperial capital ships against 1 rebel.
