I have been playing the game for 9 years, and this particular time change issue (UK in-game times are - for another 10 days or so - 1 hour earlier than normal) has happened to me several times - but today was the first time I’ve lost a round as a result.
I cleared half the map and resolved to clear the rest later, but the phase ended at 9pm UK time due to the US clock change pulling events forward an hour.
That said, I’ve got no one to blame but myself. For the entirety of the attack phase a timer was on screen telling me how long was left. I just didn’t look at it. Neither did you.
