CLS is shiny, new, and people have been wanting him for ages. He is a strong toon with a lot of pve applications, most of which are a slog. He speeds them up, and he most likely fits into CG's plans for current late game content. The pit is designed to be difficult until lvl 80. So the fact that CLS can make it a quick endeavour isnt that huge of a deal, at least not to myself and what I assume to be many others.
As for arena? He hasn't really been an issue for me. I use him in my squad when it helps me, but if i come up against him he has his counters. Honestly death trooper and palps come to mind as my easiest ways of dealing with him. Mist often I just pack my clones with deathtrooper Nd let cody go to work. Bye bye, CLS.
