I didn’t know it was a big secret because JKL has already been released once. It’s just a simple question from a paying customer. I could understand if my question was about unreleased characters or events that’s never been seen but it isn’t. No sense in keeping information from your community especially if it involves a character that’s already been released. Just my opinion

It's no different than GAS, or prior to the journey guide characters like Malak, DR, JKR, etc. Go back and look at the hundreds of where's malak threads.Until JKL goes to the journey guide one year after release, this is how it will be.I thought they was on a set schedule..... like every 3months or something like that. I could be confused on the issue but that’s what I thought. I knew Malak was messed up but I honestly thought he had been the only one that wasn’t consistent. But I see your point.There is no set schedule for these events. 3 months is a rough guideline but it varies.

3 to 4 months is generally what to expect.However it wont be marked on a calendar or in that post.He came in june, so this month or next is about when to expect him

It's roughly every 3 months, but it could be anytime between 60 days to 120 days

Are we not getting JKL this month?

Here is the general guideline to use for any new events. This is a little dated and I will ask if we can get it updated, but it still holds pretty true.

No set schedule and stuff like that is laid out here:

My guess is JKL will be a requirement for one or both of the GLs and his event will return when the new GLs are rolled out - or in close proximity.

Again hes likely later this month. If that happens, he wont be back till december.

So they either hold him intentionally to drop him with the gl if hes needed or the gl are not coming before december... which seems unlikely as piett wouldnt need speedy schedule in that case

The three to four months timeline is after the second run of JKL. His next time around could be much longer than 3 or four months, so prepare for that. This little snippet was ripped straight from the post that Kyno linked. I've bolded the important bits for your viewing pleasure, of course.

"Similar to Legendaries and Mythics, we have a concept of a New and Legacy Hero’s Journey.

The first two runs of a Hero’s Journey we consider New and will give at least a week’s notice before their launch.
Unlike a Legendary or Mythic, when a Hero’s Journey becomes a Legacy event we will not necessarily post it to the Event Calendar at the beginning of the month. However, the intention is that Hero’s Journey events will return roughly every three to four months AFTER they become a Legacy event and that we will give at least a week’s notice before they return to the game. When we announce the return of the Hero’s Journey event, we will post it on the Event Calendar on the forums."
