Omega's accent is New Zealand.
The show is off to a bit of a slow start, but that happened with CW and Rebels as well. Sure, the backstory for BB is kind of already set up, but I think what's taking time is laying the groundwork for what's to come. I think this show is not too worried about the Clone Wars/past. I think the hook for this one is a) what is Omega and what is she capable of, and; b) the story of the Empire vs Clone armies.
The word Omega translates to "last" and also refers to "the ultimate limit of a set" which is very foretelling.
Wrecker's "headache" has me worried that his chip might make him do some things he doesn't want to. There's also a lot of foreshadowing that Crosshair might be redeemable. I can't tell if that's red herring info at this point or a sign of what will actually happen.
I have faith in Filoni.
I'd prefer a show that maybe didn't include a little kid getting in the way of the Bad Batch, but Disney usually reqs something like that in their shows.
Overall, I'm pretty sure by the end of it Omega will be quite the powerhouse. Whether her story arc is equally powerful will probably be the biggest factor in determining how good this show can be.
I think Omega is going to be 5th bad batch and I agree with most of this- Wrathrider434 years agoSeasoned Newcomer

I don't disagree that she is the next phase for the clone project, just what about her is the "next phase."
The perfect clone would have the strength of Wrecker, the intelligence of Tech, the perception of Crosshair and the senses of Hunter.
I agree completely, but another possible trait would be mimicry. They can 'learn" all these skills plus more on the fly. It would be most likely she has all their traits but she just doesn't fully know it yet.
Bad Batch had time to hone their skills.
I know? I'm confused why you said that. - Normally I too would be bothered by the little girl storyline, except Filoni has already proven to me that he can build a fantastic story and character around that type of beginning. What he built with Ahsoka is one of my favorite parts of the Star Wars universe.

Being programmed with traits is one thing. The "mimicry" angle seems far fetched to me, even for Star Wars."Chucko_marek;c-2259895" wrote:

#TeamKamino! Personally, they're cloners who mess with DNA. Mimicry would be more of a force ability and outside of their scope. It would be interesting either way though. I guess I'm getting emotionally invested in Omega. So she may be killed off. lol. That seems to happen with my fav characters, like Moony and Padfoot."Chucko_marek;c-2260022" wrote:

If D+ killed off a main character who is also a little girl, it would mark the beginning of a new, darker Disney for sure. I don't think that happens.
