I would like to stress my concern for the precedent this would set having a unique persist after death (and I understand others might be bugged as well at the moment). Designing a unique that works after death makes it equivalent to a second leader ability. It may not sound unbalanced currently since Barris is the only one with a notable unique that works this way, but if this creeper into other characters and you start stacking them on the same team it would get out of hand very fast.
That is just it bariss is not the only one.
Chirrut unique (health steal and couterattack) applies after death
Wedge unique applies after death
That is 2 other very notable Uniques that have been acting this way one for a very long time.
Neither state they persist or die after death (wedge only states if counts defeated allies for calculation)
All I want is consistency, having some characters specifically state that their unique stops after death, gk, Chirrut and echo come to mind, would lead one to believe that all Uniques persist after death unless stated other wise in the ability. If that is not the case then why even waste the real estate for the "while xxxx is alive" phrasing.
Daka unique is also worded so that it makes sense it stops after death, because it states she revives them.
Bariss just states they heal not that she is healing them.
If it is wanted to be the other way fine just tell us so we are not wasting resources think one thing and suddenly it is turned around.
Again I really don't care which way it goes but please just be consistent so we the players are not left debating guessing on these things for months.
