BB-8 Return
I know this is slightly premature without the release of Rey's hero journey event details but am i correct in saying that the event for BB-8 wont be returning before christmas?

Nope and plus rey is the login just like luke was before his started. In all honesty i hope reys gets put on hold for a little and they bring luke back as im keeping gear and zetas just for him and its killing me not spending it
Didn't Luke's Heroes Journey start about half-way through the month ? Not letting everyone take advantage of the month's worth of Luke shards from the daily login rewards.- My guess is BB8 the week of the movie, Rey the week after. To stay away from spoilers from her kit. Maybe.

I hope :/ I have all the gear ready to get BB-8 to gear 12. Just need the event to get him to 7*. Really need him for my droid team because he has really low health for a taunter right now (about 55k health as of today) and getting him to 7* and gear 12 will bring him up to 80k or more easily.- be pretty pissed if he's needed for rey but doesn't return before her event, my FO wasn't ready until now
