I'll likely get BB8 at 6* if the legendary event lasts a week, FOST is still 5* and working slowly towards 6*. But honestly I don't care that much, BB8 seems pretty meh to me.
As for why people haven't been farming FO since it's so "obvious":
Priorities. We've all got them, and unless you're dropping serious cash you need to choose.

- Hoth Rebel Scout for TB
- Captain Han for TB
- Old Ben / Han / Leia / Empire (R2) / Luke for CLS
- Phoenix for Thrawn
- R1 for TB
- Random heroes for territory battle platoons
