BB8 possible without Kylo?

When I started the thread, most of the info I saw said BB8 was easy to get since all you need is a built up Kylo Ren. Since I do not have the single character ready for the event that most of the guides said was necessary, it seemed like a fair question to ask. If you can find a previous thread detailing someone in my situation, then I am more than happy to grant my thread’s redundance. Otherwise, I must conclude that the search button is indeed broken because I could not find a similar circumstance.

Thank you all for your helpful advice! I just got BB8 at 7* and I didn’t even need to change out my mods! BB8 went first with secret intel, then my Officer (196 speed). Stunned the droid and Finn when I could and used kill order of Rey, BB8, Han, Chewie, Finn. Both pilots survived to the end, so it ended up a bit better than the 6th tier.

It's too bad we need (5) 7* first order toons to do the event.

I have a G12 zeta FOTP that has base 3200 physical dmg with a base 60% crit chance (his zeta gives him 30% crit chance and 30% crit dmg)

So he basically has 90% crit chance and under a KRU lead, he gets even more crit dmg. He hits for 30k on his special and 15k a piece of his basic which = 30k. Plus 30% TM combined under KRU. I will blow through this event once I get KR, FOO and Phasma to 7*! Just wish I could do it now cause I could probably do it with what I've got which is my G12 FOTP, G8 KRU and 4* KR lol.

The point though is they want you to earn this 7* character, not just get him for free (which you essentially do... You get one of the top characters in the game without spending any energy/crystals/cash on him... The tradeoff is you have to earn him in battle). So I like the idea of the requirements. Gives me a target to build to. My first order team is ready for the end of the month, time to bring it
