I agree Phase 2 would be cooler, but even Phase 1 is infinitely cooler than what we have now.
Personally I think Cody's phase 1 helmet looks cooler than his phase 2 helmet, but that might just be me. I think Rex's looks pretty good either way, and Fives and Echo really only ever had phase 2 helmets or they had their standard clone trooper helmets from the Rishii moon which I'm pretty sure were just white.
