EA mobile games on MacOS

How come all the EA mobile games, including Star Wars, are not available in the Mac App Store.

  • Because each os requires a separately coded/compiled version of the game.  It is a mobile game so iphone and android were no btainers...it took what? 9 years? To get a pc version which has tons more users and gamers.  They might do mac, but, it could be a good while still.

You're absolutely right! Developing for different operating systems takes a lot of time and effort, especially with the need to code and optimize separately for each platform. While PC and mobile versions are the priority due to the larger user base, it’s possible a Mac version might come later, but it could still take some time. • The game is already coded for Apple Silicone. (M1 and above).
The new EA App store has been released for some time now as well, giving the same experience to both user bases.

Apple silicon MacOS can run IOS software unmodified. So no it doesn't need a seperately coded version of the game.
