Biggs Darklighter - Assist Skill

Today I'd like to talk about Biggs. More specifically, I'd like to talk about his special, "Comrade in Arms".

Now, the description of this skill seems to indicate that it should grant both him and the assisting character a 75% bonus to crit chance, but I have verified over and over that it only grants this bonus to Biggs himself and NOT the assisting character.

Is this a bug, or intended functionality with a very poorly worded description on the skill?
