Character idea: Decoy Clone Trooper

Unit Name: Decoy Clone Trooper
Affilation: Dark Side
Tags: Galactic Republic, Clone Trooper, 501st

Decoy Squad Five was a detachment of clone troopers of the 501st formed after Order 66 who were disguised in Jedi robes to fool any Jedi returning to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and eliminate them. The entire squad was eliminated by Obi-Wan and Yoda who returned to the temple seeking answers.

Though the original scene featuring Obi-Wan and Yoda encountering the disguised troopers was deleted from the final cut of Revenge of the Sith, they would still appear in the novelization (which is now considered Legends) and in the LEGO video game.

The scene in the novelization is a bit more ridiculous with Yoda disguised as a baby which Obi-Wan pretends to deliver claiming to have captured a Jedi child to execute.

In lore, they were a detachment of the 501st which is why they would have the tag.

Because they only canonically appear in the Legends Revenge of the Sith novelization (not counting the deleted scene or the Lego video game), looks like we'll be getting another Legends exclusive character.
