- To be honest, this episode felt more like the first episode of Mando Season 3 than BoBF, and that’s worrying. Not to mention that this episode was the best episode of this whole show.
Disney should have started the season with Boba portrayed stronger, instead he’s had to rely on everyone else to protect him from episode 1. What happened to the Boba from The Mandalorian? You know, the one who defeated an entire squad of stormtroopers with just a gaderffii stick and a cycled rifle.
Sadly, this show has been frankly disappointing. Hopefully The Book of Din Djarin turns out better. - I got so hyped after seeing the Fortnite guy from Baby Yoda’s show.
- braskmeNew SpectatorIronically the best Book/Boba episode yet. Atmosphere on the ringworld was great, almost makes up for the vespa gang. And BD1! So where is Cal...?
I'm now looking forward to the next episode, which has been lacking the past few. - NotRealUltraSeasoned NewcomerMan, I spent an hour watching this episode and enjoyed every minute of it
Easily, the best episode so far and kinda disappointed that its part of BoBa series because asking people to sit through first 4 episodes just for this one is asking for too much
It felt like E1 of S3 of Mando, with the backstory of his planet, dark saber, and the direction of the upcoming plot "thomssi;c-2331844" wrote:
CG - We have a problem.
Beskar Mando is now not a Mandalorian but is back doing Bounty Hunter stuff.
Nah, the Beskar Mandalorian in the game is the season 2 Mandalorian. It still works.
We'll probably get a season 3 Mandalorian eventually, but that'll be something different."Ultra;c-2331972" wrote:

I enjoyed it, too. It made me retroactively enjoy the first four episodes more. Star Wars is a place, and these five episodes have served to build that place in more detail. I was talking to a friend last weekend about how we both really, really like the direction of modern TV towards shorter seasons with more focused story arcs, but also how we still miss what you used to get in the filler episodes of the old 24-episode seasons in the old days. I'm coming to enjoy Book of Boba Fett more now that I see it as some really good filler that expands the world and characters.- DrStewartHSeasoned Newcomer

The actor that played the first X-wing pilot is the actor that they used for the de-aged Luke Skywalker at the end of Mando season 2. If it wasn't enough that Mando says he has to pay a visit to a little friend, this all but confirms we are seeing Luke in the next episode. That being the case, potentially half of the next episode won't feature Boba Fett either. I can't see them dropping in Luke Skywalker for one quick little scene and moving on to Boba's story. It'll be a big emotional reunion for Mando and Grogu.
The Mando/Grogu relationship could be extremely important to Luke and the way he ultimately runs his academy. Luke has clearly forged attachments to other people (Han, Leia, R2) just like Grogu and Mando have even though old Jedi teaching forbids this. This could be a great jumping off point to explore the old Jedi teachings and if they have merit and the consequences, good or bad, of ignoring them...
Or we can watch Boba get beat down for the 17th time this season. - LordDirtNew TravelerMaybe they will go back to Boba the next episode and Mando will show up after he goes for his babysitter visit. Then Mando 3 will actually show him go visit his baby.
- winterwolvesRising ScoutWhen Mando asked the jawas for speed mods, did anyone else do a double take and wonder if it was a direct reference to swgoh?

Dark Saber Mando GL!
Special ability: Smells like bacon
Mando slices his skin off with the Dark Saber and is inflicted with Healing Immunity and Speed Down for 2 turns, but damage is increased by 300% for 2 turns and remove 50% TM from all enemies.- I liked the episode, but I do have a couple of niggles.
1. Bona Fett was nowhere to be found in his own show with his name on it and likely barely appears in the next one either, so basically 2 out of 7 episodes he's AWOL
2. How did the Armorer turn a 5ft long spear of pure beskar into a shiny joystick knob for Grogu to play with? Where's the rest of it?
