I don't like the idea of thermal detonators being un resistible or un cleansable; however they do need a fix. I think it would be cool to have detonators do OHKO damage if given the full two turns to explode, or damage equal to 2/3rds health or something if Zam or someone else prematurely detonates it. That would add a ton of strategy to how they get used
