I'll concede that they were not specific, but for some ridiculous reason, this a game with known poor communication that relies on subtle hints, clues and paying attention.
So whenever a dev responds to a question, I take notice and when kozi responded to a specific question about packs and double drops with a cute gif . I took that as a confirmation to the question.
God forbid we have clear communication and/or fairness around here.
I have been playing the game since shortly after launch. I didn't get Yoda my first try. I didn't get EP my first try. I didn't get Thrawn my first try. Finally, after a lot of time and effort and being an F2P, I was ready for this event. Put your time in and do your farming, stop complaining about no double drops or other assistance. God forbid not everyone gets him the first time he becomes available.
Your idea of fairness is a joke.
