Correct, it was confirmation of the entire question. But the entire question was "either packs or drops" not "both." Specific language, remember? Sorry, they aren't misleading at all. Devs don't have to respond, period. But they're kind enough to do so every now and then. When they do, I don't understand why you think it's their obligation to tell you everything you want to know. It's their company, their game. You play it by their rules or don't play at all.
Look - you know what the requirements are for when Commander Luke comes around next time. Get your characters ready and you'll have him next time. I've been playing since Dec. 2015 but I did not get Yoda, R2 or EP the first time around.
Have some patience.
