I used these ewoks at this gear and beat the event. Not insane mods, but understanding how to actually beat the event and the strategy. It's actually an easy event but I really hated wasting the zeta on chirpa. Get chirpa at that gear without the z, then play around with it. Until then, no dice. If you struggle, add the z, but I'm sure it's not actually required.
