Can a GOH account transfer to a new device?

My old iPad is dying a slow death. The only thing I do on it is GOH, and it's shutting the game constantly, can't get through a single ship battle anymore. Is it possible to transfer my account to a n...

^^^^ This. When I moved from an iPhone 6 to a iPhone 7 all that was needed was the game center account and the game to be linked up to it.
