Get yourself a set of 25+ speed mods. For all toons.
That's the most ridiculous advice I've ever heard. I don't have a single mod with +25 speed and I've been playing the game for almost 4 years. I have 175 toons. There are 6 mods per toon.
So, let's do the quick math, I'm ... 875 mods short on everything but arrows. On arrows, there are toons that can live with a +30 speed arrow, but if you're going Offense or Health or some other primary on your arrow, that's a few more.
Actually, if you think about it, getting a +25 secondary speed with an Offense primary on an arrow is much better than getting a +30 speed primary with junk secondaries. So let's go all in. I'm 1,050 mods short.
If I used all my crystals to farm mods, I wouldn't have enough money to level them or enough materials to upgrade them. Since I haven't gotten any +25 speed mods in 4 years, but I also haven't been focussing on mods to the exclusion of gear, etc., I figure if I really, really focus I can get 1 or 2 +25 mods a year. But hey, we're being optimistic here. Let's say I can get 5 +25 mods per year with intense farming.
That means, hold on, let me do the math, I'm only 210 years of mod farming away from being able to return my focus to collecting meta toons and gear.
