Not sure if you ever played Counter-Strike but back in the days of version 1.6, you know as in every game "hacks" would be forbidden. So anything like a "wallhack"(which allows you to see other players in an impossible way would be forbidden). So what did people do? They decided that one player should spectate the entire game and talk with one of the teams on Skype or Teamspeak, telling them exactly where the enemy is, which in terms is again cheating, however for the first couple of months, nobody said anything as they weren't using any external programs to help them.
So you see my point is, the problem you're describing will never go away, unless someone from CG/EA actually declares this method illegal and ban-worthy.
