People mention cheaters and hackers. How is it possible to cheat or hack the game?

I doubt anyone would give away specifics, I'm not looking for any, but I was just curious how it would even be possible. Some sort of Mr Robot hack on EA servers? Seems like a lot of effort for a mobile game.
