I am ok with a shard conversion as long as you get shards equal to the unlock value of the character.
I get a 4 star character I already have? I should get 80 shards (the same amount it takes to unlock a 4 star character) instead of 32.
3 star character should be 50 shards...so on and so forth.
That would be fair and it makes sense.
