Am I the only one loving the new flow of communucation coming from CG? Especially our new community manager going out of their way to make sure we are we feel as if our input is valued and appreciated...

Two parts of communication are choosing your moment and choosing your venue.
"Immediately" and "in the middle of the most vitriolic available echo chamber" are not necessarily the wisest choices.
It will take months for the dust to settle on ships 2.0. A lot of the current discourse is reactionary outrage from those whose arena standings are somewhat worse due to the rebalancing, or the same assertion that comes out in response to literally every move they make that it's just money-grubbing, and there isn't really anything productive you can say to that.
Enfys got a very thorough response that she's working as intended. There is little in the current discourse asking for an answer that isn't addressed in the post I just linked. They may not be the answers folks want but they're quite thorough.
Marquee events don't require prior notification or preparation. You just have to show up. We don't need a calendar for them. Consider them happy surprises.
