My only issue with the communication, or lack thereof, is that nothing in this game is hyped and fun, it’s all panic farms and it makes the events and the arrival of new heroes feel like a punishment. Which is wearing.
And even if you have all of the pieces required, like I did with CLS, there’s plenty of guildies who don’t and it just makes the narrative around the game so negative.
I agree that some of that is the fault of players who don’t take the hint (Thrawn’s return, like CLS, was incredibly well telegraphed), but stuff like Chimera just reinforces the negativity and gives the players that don’t plan an out for their whinging.
