Pretty sure RC was a 7* unlock so the TIE/IN is the first conquest reward unit to be a 5* unlock. So the initial statement about conquest rewards was correct in stating it would take 3 conquests to unlock the new ship/character.
It will still take 3 conquests at max rewards to get the ship to 7*. I don't think the ship will be game breaking in fleets but will still be useful.
Also why complain about being able to get another ship quickly given we need more of them to fill out our fleets? Even unlocking this ship will not let you use all your cap ships so don't see an issue here.
