They wanted us to burn energy for something that wasn't worth the energy being burned. So it didn't get as much traction as they expected, but I think many of us figured it wouldn't.
20 extra Rey shards is kinda worth it IMO for the people that struggle with conquest. It would have been an even greater gift to the community if it was 25 shards and then we could have taken it easy this conquest by only needing gold crate and not red crate if we had gotten it.
Either way, I like the ideas of the community challenges, and hope we continue to see them.
