Most of the time things posted to the official forums go unnoticed because there is no Dev Tracker functionality. Whereas on Reddit it's highly visible. So frequently I will say the same thing here multiple times and nobody sees it, but if I say it once on Reddit it is seen immediately. Hopefully we will eventually get a dev tracker for the official forums to help alleviate this situation.
Really glad to hear that you're aware of some of the discrepancy between forums and your response is greatly appreciated.
And personally, i dont even think a tracker is necessary. It would be nice, but i think an easier solution would simply be to agree on what information is given out for each update and if people have questions, direct them to the update instead of spreading out the info.
We'd still need a dev tracker since they leave hints to future content and changes, as well answers to frequently asked questions in their replies on various threads. A dev tracker would create a way to see all those replies in one place.
For example; when the question on whether Zader's DoT's refreshed when dispelled, rather than just expire, was asked, we got a dev response saying they are indeed permanent. That's not something that needs to wait to be answered in an update post so everyone gets to see it at the same time. A Dev tracker would be a lot better than only answering things in update posts for people to be directed to later.
I'm not saying a dev tracker wouldn't be helpful, but if I had to pick one solution I'd pick more coordinated, concise updates
