Credit heist event
Is it just my luck or is it that while everyone is getting 5 mil (2.5 mil 2x) from the event, I've been getting 3 mil (1.5 million 2x) for the past month??!

I got 7.5M total not this time (yesterday) but two times before that, a couple weeks ago. Once I got 4M total (1.5 + 2.5). I've only completed the top tier Credit Heist 5 times, and the other 3 were all 5M total (2.5 + 2.5).
So from my RNG, it seems like 2.5M is by far the most common amount per attempt, but that 10% to 30% of the time you get something different. You'll have to play a lot of Heists to make a better guess at the exact chances of getting one payout or another.
In the meantime, bad RNG is bad RNG. It hurts at the time, but it's random, it doesn't last. You'll get better payouts soon.
