Darth Maul still not cutting it.
I have 7 star, modded out Gear 10 Darth Maul, and to be honest, hes just no where near where he would need to be to be slightly competitive. His main issue is his speed, and just 100 speed, everyone ...

He starts with 20% TM, Hidden, and Crit Immune. I'm not saying he's going to be the beast under your bed, but I don't think he's useless anymore. That still doesn't change his old problems though. His win condition requires 20-60% of the enemy team to be taken out first, and if you have defeated that many toons without the bonuses from his unique ability then they probably aren't needed to take down the remaining enemies.
I'm not saying it's a bad design, it's just kind of overkill for the end of a battle and not as effective as being stronger at the start of the match, like how Wedge's abilities function
Every toon has their own mechanic. Wiggs is a glass cannon, strong out of the gate but not hard to kill. They can't kill DM in the first turn unless somebody goes before Biggs that can pull DM out of stealth. If a Biggs is that damn slow, the team will suck anyway. DM's Daze should stop the unique ability Wedge has, so that TM gain and heal are no more at that point. Biggs can't get his evasion-up buff. Pair another Sith like EP and he'll stun 1 or more characters and his shock on somebody like Baze reduces their value. Like I said above, it's not perfect and every team is beatable, but I think the zeta ability with a gear 11 DM is better than credit is being given. Who knows, maybe he's still terribad but nobody knows yet. I haven't seen a YouTube video with anybody that has him zeta'd, so until somebody tries it we won't know.

Haha, I was waiting for somebody to say PK. :D A very fast Echo could but without good speed mods he will be irrelevant before his turn probably. LOL
