I am very very confused with the Darth Sion kit. Did they get these abilities looked at by actual fans of the KoTOR series before finalizing them?Yes he is the Lord of pain but now because he inflicts it upon others, but because he is in constant pain himeself. He is already dead, and is holding himself together through sheer will of the force. Sion should be a powered up sith version of NS zombie. He literally cannot die, unless persuaded to "let go" or he losses the will to hold himself together. He needs to have an auto revive, not one thats on cooldown. He should be similar to Kylo how he inflicts DOTs on himslef, since je is quite literally in pain. Maybe his unique could be he revives at 100% health unless defeated without debuffs. Just like when he kept reviving in KoTOR 2 during the fight with him. Dont dumb down a amazing character to put them in this game, either do the kit right or not at all.

While I agree with you that characters should reflect their abilities from the star wars story... unfortunately it won't happen. CLS wouldn't be that good, both Kylo's would be much better, Rey wouldn't be as powerful, Leia wouldn't stealth, wedge and Biggs would never be heard of, etc, etc...Basically a huge portion of the dark side characters would need to be buffed and a huge portion of the ds characters would need to be nerfed for the game to be more accurate... In other words... Not going to happen.

Many characters in this game dont represent themselve as canon, or as in other realms of star wars. They were trying to keep him balanced and usable.

So instead of a character you want to build up, you'd rather see a bunch of 3* gear 6 sions in the arena? (If he was like zombie)

Sion is a fantastic addition to the game and one I might sacrifice my F2p status for...

While I agree with you that characters should reflect their abilities from the star wars story... unfortunately it won't happen. CLS wouldn't be that good, both Kylo's would be much better, Rey wouldn't be as powerful, Leia wouldn't stealth, wedge and Biggs would never be heard of, etc, etc...

But why dont they? Are they creating kits and then putting a character with them? Why is it ok for them not to make characters as they are in the star wars universe?

Sion could be balanced but his kit needs to also make sense with who he is in the star wars universe. The Lord of Pain does not inflict a pain debuff. he is the one constant pain, he should be given that debuff. I mean really? I can feel the disappointment for Kreia starting alrwady...

Will she have 2 hands? 3 lightsabers? Purple? The ability to remove the force from jedi?

Not like zombie in that sense. Im saying that is ability to receive constantly is like that of NS zombie.

No that's what I'm saying, people discovered that as under geared zombie can be more beneficial compared to a maxed zombie, so there essentially would end up having a second zombie out there

No @Syrup_Chugger3 youre adding in NS zombies annoying taunt. NS zombie wouldnt be bad if it didnt taunt. Im not saying Sion should auto taunt at the end of each turn like that, but should revive similar to zombie.

And now i read Visas' kit and want to never unlock the character out of respect for what she was ib KotOR 2. Phoning in these characters of the greatest star wars game every made is not ok.
Why isnt her light saber double bladed. Why doesnt she have some sort of synergy with DN?
She would have been an amazing stealth character as she, you know...snuck onto your ship and tried to assassinate you in kotor2. Not recalling if she used force lighting or force drain in your first fight.

Anyway, these kotor toons are being straight up disrespected by the lack of research being but into them. Almost as if they dont care if they make sense...

With games like this, the main goal when designing a character's kit is to make something that is relatively reflective of their lore, while also being a good kit for a video game.

Sion is known for coming back from the dead and having a strong connection to pain. Those things have been partially put in his kit, but they needed Sith to have an AOE dispel and additional tank, so those aspects were also included.

I do wonder which way around the SW:GOH devs made Sion. Did they want to add Sion and came up with a kit for him, or did they want a Sith tank with an AOE dispel and realised Sion would work for it?

You've never heard of Wedge and Biggs??? Have you not seen Star Wars?
