I know how you feel. Some people hate 3v3 GAC, others hate 5v5, some people are bored to death with TW, others still love it. I enjoy all of them, it's DCs that ruin the experience. At this point I don't even know how many times I've expressed this. I have nothing against the idea behind DCs - powering up less used teams and characters. But most DCs focus on higher tier teams - GLs, Inqs, Queen Amidala, Sith Empire, Admiral Raddus, etc.. A lot of those teams are already extremely powerful on their own, DCs just make them ridiculous. Especially when it comes to GLs, I've lost count on how many DCs boost JMK in particular - Stun every time you use a Special, 75% damage reduction while above 50% TM, Tank revives, Padme DC, Plo DC, Eeth DC, the JMK DC during the first few months. To give another example, Jabba is already tough on defense, once you give him a DC with 120%+ Defense or something like the Boushh DC we had a year ago, he might as well be laughing himself silly watching you trying to put a dent in his team let alone beat him. Or LV with the cooldown decrease when inflicting debuffs with 70%+ Evasion DCs. 

I understand some teams are especially powerful in certain game modes because of Omicrons. The difference is Omicrons are at least permanent. A new toon is released with an Omicron or two, you eventually find a reliable counter and that's it. With DCs, a lot of them severely, and I mean severely, limit the number of counters you can use, and even if you eventually figure out a counter more often than not it requires another ridiculously overpowered DC or is very RNG dependent or is bugged (which is an entirely separate issue), then before you know it the DC expires, you encounter an entirely new set of ridiculously overpowerd DCs and the headache comes back. The only thing DCs do is boost already powerful teams to absurd levels and often create a ton of complicated interactions that you have a very hard time understanding. Gungans, for example, they're already confusing and annoying by themselves, once you add some of the Gungan specific DCs we had a while ago, suddenly reading Baylan Skoll's kit becomes a walk in the park in comparison. Then factor in the likelihood of all these new interactions causing problems like lagging.

Meanwhile, try and come up with a list of DCs that focus on teams and characters that actually could use a boost, without the entire playerbase immediately deciding it's better to put those DCs on GL teams. It's probably a 1:4 ratio, and aside from a few cases like the Sidious DC (which was incredible and made him look more like the monster he was in TCW when facing Maul and Savage) they're major letdowns.

TL;DR: I don't mind if DCs boost teams like Ewoks, Tuskens, Phoenix, or characters like Wampa, Sidious, Fulcrum, Nihilus; I do mind how most DCs focus on A-tier teams, especially GLs.
