Maybe the GVG mode will bring some nice stuff to the game because the most enjoyable element to me is the arena and (despite it being the most random aspect in the game, which siginificantly reduces the fun imho) to an extent the ship arena.
And yes, we also experience major recruitment problems whenever someone leaves. We are at 80 million GP and are missing out on 33 stars because some of us actually have a life besides swgoh. No issues here but the big boys are also having troubles filling their ranks and that hits us mid tier guilds hard.
What I would really wish for is some casual mode, where nothing matters. Just fight different squads (could be a selection from your rank on different shards are something else) and try out combinations. And if you don’t, you won’t miss out on any rewards. It has been discussed here on the forums many times but it seems the devs are deaf (hehehe) on some ears.
We all want a fun mode just for fun. I would like to see friendly matches between guildmates personally. Would be fun for bragging rights and to test new teams out.
Unfortunately they designed it so only place to test is in arena. So what I do is let the whales have fun using all their different toons and try out new combos and then copy them or use that info to make my own team. It's a bad system and removes a ton of enjoyment from majority of playerbase, but the whales spend crystals to refresh arena to try new things out while the rest of us can watch videos and play test teams in our heads (no joke, this is what I do :neutral: )
