the fact that he is dealing damage to his allies is the part that is mimicking his disregard for his underlings. his unique specifically states, this damge cannot defeat characters, when it In fact does.

each stack of droid battalion is supposed to represent losing or defeating a single B1 droid, however many stacks is lost, is supposed to represent defeating however many B1 battle droids. while this "defeat" doesnt trigger assajs rampage unique. each stack is representative of a single droid rjt is defeated.

My point is specifically related to Magna's kit. By the wording of his kit design, it seems like the intention is that he should get one "bonus" turn - but that often doesn't happen.

While I agree, it accurately reflects GG's personality and would be fun...if GG was actually buffed enough for it to make a difference. But in actual game play, all it does is delay the inevitable. The corresponding GG buffs at the sacrifice of the rest of the team makes it a poor design from a team synergy standpoint.

As a comp - look at JKAnakin's "reckless assault" - it comes with risk, but the benefit fits and is often well worth the risk. Honestly, GG's unique seems to cripple the entire team more than it helps. That's poor design.

bottom line is that the damage from GG unique defeats B1, it doesnt matter if the defeat comes from a complete loss of stacks or health, it still defeats him, and you are just being pedantic.

Or it's like saying the kits dont work well together but are 100% working as described.

B1 states he came be defeated, so no GG is not defeating him.

B1 states that he self destructs when he has no stacks of battalion.

every toon can be defeated, b1 is no different, only that his survivability is dependant on stacks of battalion not a health pool, he has "1" health, and should essentially lose stacks of DB when his health goes under "1" health, just as any other toon would die if they went under "1" health, ( provided we are ruling out, fractional numbers les than "1") in any normal circumstance, a toon that takes damage at 1 health would die, but just as damage from emperor palpatine unique or darth trayas unique, it cant defeat characters. if a character is at "1" health they dont take any further damage.

Revans unique, revives an allie when they reach 1 health, which is a hard number in these cases which a toon cant go under to be defeated, except with anniahlate.

His kit days he cant be defeated, so no not every toon can be defeated. His health doesnt change, he doesnt take damage to health, he loses stacks.

I'm not trying to argue semantics with you. His kit is new and different, and that's the way it works. Trying to equate this to other toons doesnt work, because he is not built like any other kit.

I'm not saying they couldn't change this interaction, but it's not going against what is described and also follows the idea of the kit they are trying to build here with GG and B1

every toon can be defeated, including B1, which is the exact reason for starting this post because GG "defeats B1"

B1s health does change, because he "takes damage" falls below 1 health, and a new B1 appears as long as the are stacks of droid battalion left. the point of having "1 health" is, according to cg:

"Thematically, B1s are humorously fragile; one blaster bolt is enough to destroy them. Our intent in giving them only 1 health means that every attack causes a new set of B1s to step up and replace those that have fallen. Allowing any Max Health or Max Protection increases contradicts the thematic intent of B1 being fragile and easily defeated."

see the part where they said "easily defeated" each stack is suppose to represent another b1 battle droid, and if GG unique is taking away stacks of DB, then he is , according to CGs logic, defeating B1 battles droid every time he takes a turn, which his unique is not design to do, it is designed to take health away from his allies, not defeat them.

It's this - and that's also part of the problem. This entire rework was basically for nothing, apart from creating "another team". The kits don't lend themselves to long term runs - so raids, defense and even TB, are out of the question. Heck, just for fun I tried running them through Galactic War (yes, you can still do it manually). Even with decent mods, B1 didn't make it out of the first battle - and all sep droids except GG were gone by node 4.

GG himself is mediocre at best. His "ideal" team is poorly synergized. And the entire "rework" was clearly just a dishonest attempt to get a decent number of the player base to dump resources into charaters that are fairly useless.
