Did you really lock regular path points behind the Episode pass?

Did you really lock the points needed for just standard path progression behind the episode pass? I can't even claim the point from challenges need to progress down the regular reward track unle...

In all honesty (without sarcastic hyperbole above) I am giving it until end of year before deciding to keep playing or not. Reading the update and seeing the shard and pass gate-keeping, I’m leaning toward just dropping the game right now. Maybe a month will change that.
