Do in-game reports work?

There's been a cheater in my Fleet Arena that's been cheating for a whole month and nothing has been done about them despite multiple reports being filed against them in-game. I'm apart of a Discord server for my arena so I know at least 10 people have reported them, yet this person with 4 and 5 star ships keeps climbing to #1 in an arena with multiple 7 star Negotiators and Malevolences.  Everyone in the top 50 has spent some sort of money in the game except them so I don't know how much more blatant the cheating could be.

So do in-game reports work? I just came across the google form version of reporting and filled that out as well, so I'm also wondering if reporting works at all? I know reporters won't be contacted if action is taken "for privacy reasons" (which is really dumb and should not be a thing), but has anybody ever reported somebody and seen action taken in-game? I'm hoping one day I log on and don't see a level 80 5 star executrix and 4 star geo ships atop of the ladder.

  • In game reporting for cheating doesn't work.  That goes to EA support, who have no idea.  In game reporting would probably work for abuse, which is generic.

The Google forms goes to somebody relevant.  Whether they'll act on it, isn't clear.  However, it may prove fruitful.  Whereas, the in game button is a button to oblivion.

  • Additional information regarding reporting cheaters is contained in this post

No. The in game help is a worthless feature. CG does not have any form of legitimate customer support.

  • They aren’t cheating.

just because you can’t control them, doesn’t mean they are cheating.

    fleet shards are legit tyrannical.

“you can’t do that it’s MY TURN!”

The player, PWNZevZ (ally code: 142627586), doesn't even have a single 6 or 7 star ship and only two level 85 ships and is climbing to rank #1 every day in a fleet arena full of max star and level fleets. His ships do not have enough health, are not fast enough, and do not put out enough damage to be competitive here. I'm sorry you've had some bad experiences with fleet shards given that message and your previous ones, but this person is definitely cheating. This isn't me trying to control the arena, it's just blatant confusion on how this goes unpunished.

Saying "they aren't cheating" when there are people such as this person, ally code: 142627586, climbing to top 50 in a squad arena full of SLKRs without a single relic character just makes you look like a cheater yourself trying to protect the practice.

They're definitely cheating. 142627586 is their ally code and you can see for yourself that their collection doesn't have the bulk, speed, or offense to match up against max level and star relic ships that actually have faction synergy.

Do you also think that this person, ally code: 853777792, can climb a squad arena full of SLKRs without cheating? This isn't about controlling other people in my arenas, this is my confusion about how it's possible to do what they're doing.

My friend here cant comment so im here to fill in. but if you compare these two accounts its obvious one is cheating. You cant rank up in fleets with such low ships if the top 50 competition is ships like OP. it's literally impossible. Idk how you surmised that he was being "tyrannical" when all he mentioned was being confused about a cheater.

    Cheater: 142627586
    OP: 229747576

  • Thanks EA for making me look crazy with a double reply when those messages never sent when I originally sent them
