DSTB: Rebels gain 100% TM from getting stunned?

So, doing today's combat missions I noticed something peculiar. It happened in two different missions so I know it wasn't just a one time thing. I stunned a couple of rebels (pilots, commanders, Sol...

60% chance to self cleanse. Rebels have that in both TB's. Pay attention when you play as rebel in the next LSTB.

Since both the player and AI receive an advantage, i believe it's pretty "fair".
