Feats in GAC not properly counting

I've defeated 8 teams in sector 1 of GAC with full Gungan teams but the Oh boot tis! Feat says I've only defeated 24/35 enemies. How is this possible?

Enemies that die due to status effects such as DoTs, Plague, Thermal Detonators etc won't count towards feats
