Umm, GAC is not mandatory at 5 v 5 or 3 v 3.

Surely you understand that this poster wants the choice to be between 3v3 and 5v5 as opposed to between 3v3/5v5 and nothing.
And so you also understand that the poster also haa bias for 5v5 and that 3v3 just so happens a few times inbetween the meh moments.
Gac 5v5 or 3v3 should never be decided by a singular player whos huffy about ONE mode of a game.

surely you understand that currently one has a choice to sign up for each 3 round match of GAC. IF one does not enjoy 3 v 3 one does not have to sign up to play it. Its not forced on anyone. The poster can choose to only sign up for 5 v 5 if they so desire and no change to the game is required for that. It is an existing feature, go figure.

Your response makes no sense. My post states its not mandatory meaning its optional. If you want to play 5 v 5 only you can do that already, don't sign up for 3 v3 and only sign up for 5 v 5. To recap the current options are to join GA when its the format you prefer or are willing to play and don't join or play when you are not willing to play or its the format you don't like. Those of us who like both formats or are willing to play both obviously join all the time. The op's suggestion means many of us lose out for a choice they do not want to make.
In the beginning after 3v3 was introduced, you had a choice, you could sign up for 5v5 or 3v3.
The reason why we have a mixed GAC now is, that almost nobody signed up for 3v3.
And because CG is too proud to let an by the majority unloved game mode die, we are stuck with this

Majority? What rubbish! Do you have any proof of that? “Oh, I dislike 3v3 so i assume that nobody likes it as well so why not throw it away!” If you don’t like then don’t sign up. Other players still want to play!
