The worst part of 3v3 is the additional time and battles for the same rewards. They can't get rid of the game mode without players who invested Omis rioting. (I personally hate the 3v3 exclusive Omis too but you really can't put the toothpaste back in the tube) I do wish they would reduce the number of teams to reduce the tedium and burnout.
I don't think players who've invested in 3v3 Omis would riot.
For one thing, there's so few of them. Look at Omi application on SWGOH.
For another - I'm one of those people with 100+ omis, including all the 3v3 ones. The only useful one is Tusken Warrior - BT-1, 0-0-0, and Chieftan are all only marginally useful at best.
