Again, I was one of the most vocal in calling for the change to squad GP for squad-only GA because I did the research and saw that it was complete b/s.
The fact that I personally managed to win 2 squad-only GA brackets despite significant GP handicaps did not make it balanced. It just meant that we were mismatched on skill as well as GP and I was able to use the former to overcome the latter.
The last 5v5 squad-only GA:
And the second to last 3v3 squad-only GA:
I also have two mixed GA wins, the 2-zone we just had and a 4-zone from December.
