Galactic challenge feat

Win after taking 8 turns in a row. Has anyone achieved this? I have used my fastest toons, and stunning to stop them from getting turns. Stretched it out to 12 turns before they get a turn, without counting any assist as a turn, or turn meter gains to an ally as turns, but I still don't get the feat. What am I missing or doing wrong?

Nevermind. I tried again after posting with same squad. Counted with pen and paper my turns against theirs. Battle played out the same, but this time I was awarded the feat. Maybe you have to do it 8 times in a row.
