Hey guys! I've been thinking about a new challenge for the community, the fixer-upper challenge. You can either renovate another users fixer-upper or post one for others to renovate. There won't be any winners or deadlines.
Renovations: If you want to renovate a fixer-upper, just choose one and get to work!
Fixer-Uppers: If you want to upload your own fixer upper, please include the #FixUpXX tag. XX is the number of your entry. For example: I'll post #FixUp01 and the next person to post a fixer-upper will have the tag #FixUp02. You can add requirements to your fixer-upper like budget, build restrictions, special items and so on.
I'll link to all fixer-uppers and their renovations in the second post!
Requirements: - Keep the outside walls, can change the wallpaper - Keep the positions of the windows and doors on the outside walls, can change windows as long as they are the same size
Don't worry if you don't have all the packs, you can just replace the things you don't have.
I've originally built this lot for the asylum challenge and while playing thought it would be nice to see it renovated!
Requirements: -Cannot change the landscaping (does not include the vines/moss on the house) -Basement should be added to but the stairs down should be in an enclosed space with a door. -Needs 3 bedrooms -Cannot change outside walls but can add to and change wall paper
There are cobwebs throughout the house, just a heads up as I know they are hard to see.
Your Reno of the old Asylum looks very nice! @cmbaker16 :) The white picket fencing gives a nice look to the home, and very nice outdoors dining area on the back patio. Sims will enjoy cooking meals on the bbq and eating the food at the large round table in the sunshine. The furnishing of the interior looks very nice! Very nice corner windows sitting nook for sims to relax there and watch tv with sunshine coming in through the windows. The makeover looks very nice! :)
I'm finally done with @cmbaker16 fixer upper! I'll post some of the pictures under a spoiler because I want to do a before and after and there are a LOT
I had soooooooooooooo much fun fixing this house and I'm pretty satisfied about how it came out! Hope you like it! If someone wants to download it I'll be uploding to the tag #fixup02 in the gallery!
