I’m guessing with the new credit packs, a level increase is coming (aka cash grab). With the reported game changer meeting at the end of the month, it wouldn’t surprise me if it was coming sooner than later with the new raid and QOL enhancements. Personally, I’m hoarding credits just in case. Worst case is if it doesn’t happen, I’ll have a boatload of credits.
