Lvl cap increase would be useful because the majority of the guilds still not able to finish the HAAT... That might help them out a bit.
But on the other hand: introducing lvl85 as a credit sink WAS useful, because at that time the game did not have that much content.
Now, we have DS and LS TB, TW...
These game modes actually credit sinks. Devs declared that they want to motivate players to broaden their toon collection with the new game modes instead of focusing on only one team for arena.
Raising cap limit would not significantly affect high-end players and whales, but will slow down progression, and impede competitiveness for the rest of the playes base.
