Gear level advice wanted

Question

I believe I have a good plan in place for teams for this raid. I just don't have the toons I need for it yet. So I'm starting the process of getting them a team at a time then gearing and modding them.
My question is what gear would you recommend getting to before joining up with an HAAT ready guild? I don't want to be an anchor so don't want to join unless I can truly contribute

Unless the guild is just on the cusp of being able to do HAAT, you're probably not going to need to worry about being an anchor. Guilds that have it on farm aren't going to care how much damage you can do to it. Now with TB, however, what you bring to that table is a much bigger issue.

For a guild that is still on that edge, g10+ is pretty necessary to be much a help.
