General Discussion?
So I'm curious to know, what exactly is the criteria for a General Discussion? A question about Thrawn will be moved to characters and strategies, a guild related question will be moved there? H...

Moving threads really is meaningless if people use the recent discussions section, But what bothers me is when threads are closed because, 1. the mod/dev THINKS the problem is solved(which was not true about people being autokicked from guilds) 2. The topic is closed and archived cause its related to a bug(When the thread was to have a conversation about the bug and how people deal with it, not to report it as I could care less about reporting bugs to a company that refuses to work on bugs and glitches that have been around 1+ years).
I get the idea to close threads when they get extremely toxic or its a necro that is irrelevant at this time, But no other threads should be closed. Whats the point of a forum? to discuss the game. So dont close threads where people are having an active discussion. Its bananas
Topics being closed vs bugs and issues is different.
Bugs and issues need to be reported to the <> because that is where they are being handled now as per <> . We are not closing it because we think it is resolved, we have no control over that site and it need to get there to be addressed. Bugs and issues was archived and any post there is locked from commenting. Even from us. So we post the correct location for the OP to go and move it there because it is a bug and issue and we want people to see the correct information on how to get it dealt with.
@PiffGuru
An open discussion on a site that is not reviewed by the people who can fix these issues isn't really necessary, because all it will do is fuel a fire with baseless accusations like the one you made. Please refrain from doing that, I would like this conversation to stay open. (They do care, and work on a lot of things.)
And when I make a thread about a bug like I said the auto kicking from guild issue, which I believe was before the change of how bugs are being reported, I get a message that the thread was closed because it was fixed... well it wasnt fixed as I had 2 people days after the fix that got auto kicked.. Well guess what, my thread was closed so I cant even comment there and say hey, its not fixed btw cause im still having issues. Instead Id have to make a whole new thread that will likely be closed again.. It just seemed counterproductive.

And Kyno I respect the hell out of you for all the time you put into this but exactly what part of what I said was "baseless"? My language may have been a bit harsh for someone with thin skin but it is in no way inaccurate. For example, since the game came out talia has had glitches with her attacks animation. Still not fixed..

Having an open discussion is actually very useful and important as every issue obviously cant be addressed by devs in a "timely" manner. A generic example of this usefulness goes like this..
I have an issue with a microsoft game, I call microsoft and get the run around for days, Given no way to fix said problem. So I go online to a forum, talk to a few community members about the issue and find that others have figured a workaround to the issue. So instead of waiting 6 months for microsoft to get around to it, I can go on with my life. This example has been repeated by me in many aspects not just games but purchasing products, working on electronics etc.
Im on this site constantly and try to contribute where I can but there are absolutely flaws with how things are done here in my opinion.
Sorry to OP for slight change in discussion here
